JANESVILLE -- The city's cross-town high school football rivalry comes early this year as Craig and Parker face off this evening at Monterey Stadium. Follow the scoring live on Twitter from the game that kicks off at 7 p.m. The sophomore game begins at 4 p.m. Those without a Twitter account can check in on the score by going to Twitter.com and searching #jvlfb. The two teams are tied atop the Big Eight Conference after riding powerful ground games to opening-night victories last Friday. The Vikings ran over Madison Memorial 35-7 while rushing 319 yards on 35 carries by Adam Vesterfelt. The senior scored on runs of 24, 9, 18, 56 and 24 yards. Meanwhile, the Cougars recorded their first win of the season with a 31-10 victory over Madison West.
