BLOOMFIELD TOWNSHIP -- A 55-year-old woman died today on U.S. Highway 12 in Bloomfield Township after she lost control of the vehicle she was driving and rolled it over into the median.
Marlora Delaney died after being flown to Froedert Memorial Lutheran Hospital in Wauwatosa, according to a police department news release. The news release did not note where Delaney was from.
Town of Bloomfield Police Department responded shortly after 3 p.m. today with the Bloomfield-Genoa City Fire Department to a single vehicle roll over crash on Highway 12 in the area of Clover Road.
Police believe Delaney was operating her white 1995 Jeep Wrangler eastbound on Highway 12 approaching the Clover Road overpass.
For reasons unknown at the time of the press release, Delaney lost control of the vehicle which caused it to roll over upon entering the median.
Delaney was ejected from the vehicle during the crash and was transported by ambulance to an area hospital.
She was then flown to Froedert Hospital where she ultimately passed away from injuries sustained during the crash.
The crash remains under investigation with the assistance of the Wisconsin State Patrol traffic reconstruction unit.
